Voting & privacy

No account is required. We store an anonymous browser cookie, your daily ballot, and any suggestions you submit. Each browser can cast one solo, duo, or trio ballot per Eastern calendar day. Voting closes at midnight Eastern; the top lineup is shown as the winner, with ties sharing the win. Clearing cookies or switching devices can allow another ballot. Messages are private to the team. Contact forms may include your name and email so we can reply; these are required for collaboration enquiries and optional for video ideas. Contact forms use the connection IP to rate-limit submissions and include an approximate country/region with the private message. Raw IP addresses are not stored or emailed. Rate-limit identifiers are hashed with a server secret and rotate daily; entries older than seven days are removed by the scheduled maintenance job. Location may reflect a VPN or proxy. We also measure page views, visits, link clicks, referral domains, device categories, and approximate regions. A first-party visit cookie expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Daily visitor estimates use a rotating keyed hash; raw IPs, full browser identifiers, and referral query strings are not saved. Traffic events are retained for up to 31 days. Admin visits and recognized bots are excluded. Voting guides content choices and does not guarantee a video.
